Accessibility Statement
Selah Ltd (trading as Websmartz) is committed to making websmartz.co.uk accessible to everyone, including disabled users, in line with the Equality Act 2010 and the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) Accessibility Regulations 2018 (where applicable).
1. Compliance status
We aim for compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at AA level. We test the site regularly using a combination of automated tools and manual review.
This site is currently partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA. Known issues are listed below and being addressed.
2. Known issues
- Some decorative SVG illustrations may lack ARIA labels — being reviewed.
- The colour contrast on a small subset of muted text against background may fall below 4.5:1 — being audited and fixed.
- The expandable FAQ uses native <details>/<summary> elements which work with keyboard and screen readers, but visual focus styles may need refinement.
3. What we’ve done
- Semantic HTML structure (proper heading hierarchy, landmark regions).
- Keyboard navigation for all interactive elements.
- Visible focus states on links and buttons.
- Alt text on meaningful images (decorative images marked as such).
- Responsive design that scales cleanly to 200% zoom and reflows on small viewports.
- Clear, plain-language copy.
